Screening & Surface Water Management
Hydrok have developed a portfolio of products that are focused on the growing demand for clean water
requirements and the management of surface water. This includes the Hydrok Raw Water Intake Screen for
extraction from rivers, reservoirs and other water sources as intakes for drinking water plants,
fish hatcheries, industrial process water, power plant cooling water, desalination plants and many other
applications that require careful design consideration in order to responsibly protect the aquatic life
at the intake. The Hydrok RWIS solution complies with the EU Habitats Directive and the
Eel Directive for England & Wales.
Other products in this section of the portfolio can offer aeration systems to re-oxygenate rivers,
canals, reservoirs and ponds with the protection of aquatic life as a key factor in the design.
As an example the HydroSwitch, HydroGuard and HydroMESI are systems providing a solution to the problem facing engineers in the protection of all of receiving waters.
The Stop Logs system that Hydrok supply are for major municipal and industrial
applications either as a permanent or temporary solution to managing surface water issues.
